“Preserving the warmth of emotion and the unpredictability of the moment, the paintings of boats seem to be the product of a second personality of the artist. In the seemingly relaxed manner in which the brushstrokes of color are laid down and interwoven—strokes that remain faithful, through their flow, to the configuration of the chosen subject and that shape, with relative fidelity, forms from reality—one can read the professional dexterity of an artist who allows herself to be imbued with the spirit of the places that have stirred her interest, and who personalizes them by projecting not so much fleeting emotions as a foundation of harmonious sensibility.
It may seem unusual that a young artist adheres so unequivocally to a classical vision, to an artistic revival of the natural, offering us an exhibition full of surprises without novelty itself being its substance. The quality of the surprise lies in its corollary: contemplative calm, naturalness, and simplicity.
Alongside all artists, Emma Ersek shows us through her exhibition that she too considers the moment of creation a privileged one—a celebration more beautiful than any other, in which she feels elevated to the fullest potential of her own condition.
(Veronica Bodea Tătulea, in Gazeta de Transilvania, about the exhibition By the Seaside, Brașov, 2009)”

Ema,multe felicitări pentru creațiile tale frumoase. Mi-au transmis multă pace, liniște, romantism, meditație...
